We offer multiple layers of signer authentication. At a minimum, we verify the signer's email address. For enhanced security, you can enable two-factor authentication via SMS passcode or implement Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA), which requires signers to answer questions based on their personal credit history. All of this is logged in the audit trail.

Once all parties have signed, the document is cryptographically sealed to be tamper-evident. A final PDF copy, which includes the detailed Certificate of Completion and audit trail, is automatically distributed to all parties and stored securely in your eSignly account. You can also automatically save copies to your integrated cloud storage like Google Drive or Dropbox.

While standard eSignly signatures are legally binding for most agreements, documents requiring notarization have specific legal requirements that often involve a licensed notary public. eSignly can be used for the underlying document, but the notarization itself may need to be handled through a separate Remote Online Notarization (RON) service, depending on your state's laws.
